内容摘要:
In this talk, I will show how notions of the Yang-Baxter eqaution and the reflection equation, that are essential tools in the quantum integrable theories, arise in the context of classical soliton models. The celebrated vector nonlinear Schrödinger (VNLS) equation, also known as Manakov model, will be the main model under investigation. Precisely, N-soliton solutions of VNLS without boundary will be used for the construction of Yang-Baxter maps, ie, solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation. Soliton solutions of VNLS on the half-line with integrable boundary conditions will be used for the construction of reflection maps, ie, solutions of the reflection equation. The emphasis will be on the nature of boundary problems for integrable systems.


附主讲人简介:

张成博士,于2010年在法国Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon获理论物理硕士学位,2013年在英国City University London获数学物理博士学位。之后他在英国University of Leeds和上海大学继续博后的研究。他的主要研究领域为非线性完全可解系统的数学理论和物理应用,在《Nonlinearity》、《Journal of Physics A》、《SIGMA》等期刊发表过多篇论文。
