Profile:
In 1998, he received his doctor degree in the Department of Mathematics, Zhejiang University. In 1990, he held the position of the director of math department and deputy dean of the faculty of science in Ningbo University. From 2002 to 2009, he successively held postdoctoral research positions at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Canada, and worked as a visiting scholar at the National Mathematics Research Center of Peking University, the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Italy, the National Central University of Taiwan, the Wayne State University (WSU) in USA. Since 2010, he has been working at ZUST, as dean of the School of Science at present.
